  • The planning application number is Minerals and Waste WP/20/00692/DCC. You can find the application by clicking here. You will need to Accept the website’s terms and conditions before proceeding.
  • Contact Dorset Council if you still wish to send in an objection.

Where do I send my objection?

There are three options for where to send your objection:

  • You can upload your written objection directly onto the Dorset Council planning page for the application. Nowadays, there is no need to register beforehand.  Click here to go to the Dorset Council planning page.

What is the deadline?

Contact Dorset Council if you still wish to send an objection.

How do I submit by post?

  • Firstly, you need to quote the application reference which is: Minerals and Waste WP/20/00692/DCC
  • Then, you need to state that you are submitting an OBJECTION.
  • Then, state as clearly as you can the reasons for your objection.
  • Finally print your name, sign your letter and post it to Planning Team A, Dorset Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester DT1 1XJ.

What shall I say?

  • It is important that each response is seen as separate and the view of the individual objector, rather than a recycling of a generic set of pre-determined objections.
  • However, as a memory jogger, we have listed here a range of possible objections.
  • Please look through them and, if you have your own personal concerns in relation to any of them, please make your objections to that topic in your own words. This list is not necessarily complete, and if there are other areas you think are important, please let us know so we can circulate them to others so they too can consider them. At this stage in the process, it is a numbers game, and our advice is that you object on each and every point you feel is important to you.
